昨年の秋に出会ってから仲良くさせて

いただいているベーシストでシンガーでもあるAoi Yumiさん(from Mishiganized)とのデュオでのLIVEです。

僕の曲とcoverを演ります。

DUOの馴れ初め等はLIVEのMCにとっておきます(笑)。

ベーシストと演奏するのは約2年ぶりで、しかも生粋のベーシストと演奏するのは4年ぶりくらい？で、そして何と言ってもYumiさんの様な「スーパーベーシスト」とご一緒するのは人生初なのです(！)。

「スーパーベーシスト」という曖昧な言葉の重さや感覚は人それぞれ異なると思いますが、ここで僕が言う「スーパーベーシスト」とは完全に僕の好みです。

Yumiさんはとにかく「カッコいい」のです。それは音や演奏だけで無くベースを構えた姿や演奏中の佇まいの事も含めてです。

お人柄の素晴らしさは出会って直ぐに

存じていたのですが、ベーシストとの

凄さ、カッコ良さはその後Instagramを交換してYumiさんのLIVE動画を観て

知りました。

テクニックは勿論ですが、「センスが良い！良過ぎる！」って驚きました。

そして本当に「Yumiさんと演奏したら

(良い意味で)僕はあんまりギターを弾かなくて済むな」と思いました。

基本的に僕はギターをジャカジャカする曲は少ないですし、なるべくミニマルに

弾きたいのでベーシストがそこを理解してくれる人でないと、ミニマルに弾けないし、自由度も狭くなっちゃうんです。

雁字搦めで追い詰められながら弾く事も

好きですが(笑)。

とにかくYumiさんにご一緒していただきたくて、かなり慌て気味に、

そして超ダメ元でオファーさせていただいたら、何と有り難く快諾して下さったのです。

「HIROKIとAoi Yumi」は今回のLIVEのタイトルですが、DUO名として名乗ったとしても(個人的には)全然有りだと思っています。

阿佐ヶ谷Yellow Visionは光と音の響きが美しくて、素晴らしい雰囲気のLIVE BARです。

JR阿佐ヶ谷駅の北口に出たら直ぐに左手を向き、線路沿いに(吉祥寺方向)約1分歩いたら右手に白いタイル貼りのビルがあります。そのビルの地下1階にYellow Visionがあります。

近過ぎて通り過ぎてしまう方も居るので

お気をつけ下さい。

中華料理店が右手に見えたら、その向こう隣が白いタイル貼りのビルです。

駅そばでとても便利です。

 Let me get along since we met last fall

 It's a duo LIVE with Aoi Yumi (from Mishiganized), who is also a bassist and singer.

 I will play my song and cover.

 I'll save DUO's familiarity with the LIVE MC (laughs).

 It's been about two years since you played with a bassist, and it's been about four years since you played with a genuine bassist?  And, after all, it's the first time in my life to be with a "super bassist" like Yumi (!).

 I think that the weight and feeling of the ambiguous word "super bassist" varies from person to person, but the "super bassist" I say here is completely my preference.

 Yumi is just "cool".  It's not just the sound and performance, but also the appearance of holding the bass and the appearance during the performance.

 The splendor of your personality is as soon as we meet

 I knew it, but the bassist and

 After that, exchange Instagram and watch Yumi's LIVE video to see how awesome and cool it is.

 I knew.

 Of course, the technique is good, but I was surprised that "Your sense is good! It's too good!"

 And really, "If I play with Yumi-san,

 (In a good way) I don't have to play the guitar so much."

 Basically, I don't have many songs where I jingle the guitar, so I try to keep it as minimal as possible.

 I want to play it, so if the bassist doesn't understand that, I can't play it minimally, and the degree of freedom is limited.

 You can also play while being cornered with a wild goose

 I like it (laughs).

 Anyway, I wanted Yumi to accompany me, so I was in a hurry,

 And when I made an offer with a very bad basis, I was grateful and accepted.

 "HIROKI and Aoi Yumi" is the title of this LIVE, but I think it's totally possible (personally) even if we call ourselves DUO.

 Asagaya Yellow Vision is a LIVE BAR with a beautiful atmosphere of light and sound.

 As soon as you exit the north exit of JR Asagaya Station, turn left and walk along the tracks (in the direction of Kichijoji) for about 1 minute, and you will see a building with white tiles on your right.  Yellow Vision is on the first basement floor of that building.

 Because there are people who are too close and pass by

 Please be careful.

 If you see a Chinese restaurant on your right, there is a building with white tiles on the other side.

 Very convenient near the station.
