ボウイが亡くなった年に第1回目が行われたイベント(その第1回目に僕は「優勝」しました)、渋谷Ruby Roomのopen mic 「Theme Night “DAVID BOWIE ”」に、1/29(火曜日に出演します。

優勝した時、、優勝はお客様の投票で決まります。僕のパフォーマンスへの投票がダントツ多かったのです。

ボウイの死への悲しみから立ち直っていなかった時だったので、ボウイの曲をプレイするのはとても辛かったけど、出演を決めたのは、自分なりのボウイの感謝と追悼を音で宇宙に旅立ったボウイに届けたいという思いで出演し、胸に込み上げるものを感じながら万感の想いで演奏しました。

それで優勝したのですから特別な気持ちになりました。嬉しいけど淋しく悲しい、みたいな。

そして「スターマン(ボウイ)が空でこの事を喜んでくれている」と心から思いました。そう思い、その気持ちに救われました。

今回は心から楽しんでパフォーマンスしたい。
