【先週の火曜日(ありがとう)】
先週火曜、RUBYに僕のステージを観に来て下さった方々、そしてあのライブを熱狂的に盛り上がって観て下さった方々、終演後にお声がけして下さった方々、どうもありがとうございました。
楽しかった〜！です(ね！)。
自分のライブに関して「盛り上がれば良い」とは思っていませんが、OPEN
MICの短いギグで、しかも知らないお客さんが殆どのフロアで、あれだけ盛り上がったり、終演後に「ギターが5、6本鳴っている様に聞こえた」てお褒め下さった初対面のお客さんのその言葉に、その場にいた人々が皆共感して下さったり、、ああいう盛り上がりは「特別の事」と思いますし、それだけ最高のパフォーマンスを披露したのだという自負と実感もあります。
表現したい事が「しっかりと伝わった」という嬉しさもひとしおです。
この夜はソロで演る予定だったのですが、急遽、友人でドラマー(彼は優れたギタリストでもある。そして何より超イケメンだ)のETHAN(イーサン)とのDUOで演奏しました。
あとT-REXの「20th century boy」のカバーを最後に演りました。
これが「狂乱」と形容して良いくらい盛り上がりました。全て興奮状態。
勿論僕とETHANも狂乱して演奏していました。
あまりの盛り上がりに僕は気がつくと
曲のエンディングでアンプの上に垂直にギターのヘッドを付けてフィードバックさせてながらボディエンドを上から押しまくってネックバンドしているくらいでした(あの状態でネックベンドしたのは初めて。アンプが唸りを上げていました)。
残念ながら音源も映像も記録していなかったのですが、以前YouTubeにアップしたRUBYでのDARRYLとのFOXY LADYの音源(https://youtu.be/0wQvuiArZZ4)の時よりも盛り上がったくらいでした。
あの音源のエンディング時の、お客さんのリアクションをお聞きいただければ、先週の火曜日がどれくらいなものだったのか想像しやすいも思います。あれ以上でしたから。しかもあの時みたいに超満員ではなくてです。
そして、先週はFOXY〜の時と違って、
マイクの音量やモニターもしっかりしていたので、歌もギターも自分でも驚くくらいコントロール出来ました。
だから、こちらの表現の意図が、しっかり伝わったのだと思っています。
インプロビゼーションも炸裂しましたし。
サウンドもどんどん良くなっているし(自分の理想の形を更新しています。サウンドに関してはオタクですから.笑。勿論、演奏法もオタクだしオリジナルのプレイを常に追求していますよ。あくまで楽しく！で)、そのサウンドこそが、僕の最大の武器だと自負しています、
どんなに良い演奏もサウンドありきだと思うし(他のギタリストはどうなのか知りませんが)、僕のギターヒーローも皆サウンドが必殺ですから。
あんな短いライブであれくらい熱狂的(色んな人に終演後「神様」と言われたくらいです.笑。神様は不眠が続いて体調は最悪だったのですが、ステージに上がったら魔力？が働きました)な状況をお客さんと共有出来た事は、
今後の僕の音楽活動、音楽人生に多大な影響を及ぼす大きな勝利であり、
益々良い音楽、良いステージを表現する為の努力に必要なガソリンになります。本当にありがたい。
何事にもいちいち一喜一憂したりしませんし、基本的に良い事があっても「勝って兜の緒を締めよ」な性格なので、日頃冷め切って(覚めきって)いますが(笑)、流石に先週のあの雰囲気(終演後も)は本当に本当にありがたく、嬉しい出来事でした。
これからも宜しくお願いします。
【巨大過ぎる出会い】
人生の中で時折素晴らしい出会いがあったりします。
最近そういう出会いがありました。
そのお陰で最近の僕は「無敵」な状態でギターを弾いて歌っています。
影響力のある出会いは人に活力を与えるし生まれ変わるくらいの新しい世界観をも与える。
昨年の今頃は毎日左膝のリハビリばかりで(というかリハビリだけの毎日だった)、それも中々良い方向に行かず本当にキツイ試練の中に居たのですが、今年は文字通り「地に足がついている」日々が続いています。
困難や試練もありますが、音楽の表現は、演りたいようにやれているし、何よりも精神的にとても充実しています。
出会いや縁は本当に素晴らしい。
それこそが人生の中の1番大きく尊い財産なのだと最近改めて思いました。
プライベートでも、そして勿論先週のRUBYでも。
幸運な出会いに感謝ばかりです。

明日も渋谷RUBY ROOMのOPEN MIC NIGHTに終演します。
ソロでの出演ですが、ひょっとしたらドラマー(誰かは秘密)を従えてのDUOになるかも。

冒頭の写真、虫嫌いな人はゴメン！(笑)。
一昨日、いつもの散歩コースの木道にて、今年初めてセミの抜け殻(幼虫の抜け殻)を発見しました。
大抵は梅雨が開けないとセミの声は聞こえないし、抜け殻は見ないから驚きました。
早く出過ぎたのかな？
1番乗り？の声聞きたかったです(地上へようこそ！良い夏を！と祝福のエールを込めて撮った一枚)。

もう一枚は、先日図書館へ行く途中に見かけた紫陽花。
