May.24(tue) HIROKI solo @SHIBUYA RUBY ROOM!!

明日5/24(火)、渋谷RUBY ROOMのOPEN MIC NIGHTにソロで出演します。

僕の出番は21時くらいです。

先週、観にいらして下さった皆様、ありがとうございました。

先週は急遽、古い友人であり、ドラマーでもあるETHAN(イーサン)との即興DUOでのステージを披露しました。

かなり実験的な感じで、いきなり(イーサンは全く何をやるか知らない状態でステージに上がっていました)、で僕の曲を素材としてインプロしたのですが、初めて観て下さった人達を含めて盛り上がりました。

「盛り上がれば良い！」とは思っていませんが、OPEN MIC NIGHTだし、ああいう色々な人々(色々な人種の)が集う楽しいお店での演奏ですので、やはり

お客さんが盛り上がってくれるのは素直に嬉しいです。

そして予定外のDUOやバンドとしていきなりセッション的な演奏出来るのもRUBYのあの雰囲気ならではで、僕はその感覚がとても好きです。

RUBYのOPEN MICは、色んな意味で実験出来る「研究室」だと思っていますので。

それも独りよがりの研究室ではなくて、対お客さんへの「公開研究室的ライブ」みたいな感じ。

短いライブですので、やはり観に来てくれる方々の為にも自分の為にも、

相当濃厚な演奏をお見せしています。

明晩は購入したばかりの「ユニヴァイブ(勿論クローンですが、ヘンドリックスが使用していたモノとサウンドはそっくり。まるで水の中みたいな、あの独特のサウンド。勿論畝りのスピードはペダルでコントロールするタイプ)」を人生で初めてステージで使います。

たくさんクローン的なヤツが出ている割には、使っているギタリストを余り見かけません。

コントロールが難しいし、あれ自体が「楽器」という感覚のモノだからだと思います。センス必要！な感じ。

あと、前記した通りこれはエフェクトというより楽器と解釈しています。

僕はこの機材を「自分にとても合っているな」って思っています。

では、とのように合っているか？

それはステージで！(笑)
